Getting started¶
The first hour with Festinato: sign-up, payment, onboarding, and getting your first artist into the mobile app.
1. Sign up¶
Visit festinato.app/signup and pick:
- a festival ID — three to thirty-two lower-case letters, digits or
dashes. This becomes your web address
(
<your-id>.festinato.app) and identifies your festival everywhere in the platform. Pick carefully — it cannot be changed later. - a festival name as displayed to attendees
- an admin email — receives the welcome mail and is seeded as the back-office admin user
- a tier — see pricing
After clicking Continue to checkout you are taken to a secure payment page. Year one is billed up front (annual fee plus the setup fee where applicable); the recurring subscription starts twelve months later.
2. Provisioning¶
Once your payment is confirmed, the back-office is set up for you in under a minute. You will receive a welcome email with your login link and a one-time password.
3. Onboarding wizard¶
Your first login drops straight into a five-step wizard:

| Artist | Your first artist, marked booked and linked to the edition |
| Slot | Slot the artist at the venue with a start and end time |
On Finish you are taken to the normal back-office. If you need to re-run the wizard later, contact support@festinato.app.
4. Mobile app¶
The Festival Hub app lists your festival in its picker the moment your edition is flagged Publicly discoverable (Community tier and above).
For a branded build — your own app name, your own icon, your own colours — your account manager produces the app on demand and delivers it to your App Store and Play Store accounts. See Mobile app for what each option looks like.
5. Day-to-day¶
- Push notifications — open the Push notifications screen in the back-office, compose a message, optionally link it to an artist or venue, and hit Send now. Delivery to all your app users is automatic.
- Artists, venues, slots — same flow as the wizard, just from the Festinato menu.
- Sponsors, fundraising, volunteers — dedicated menus under Festinato.
